Computer Desk

The Banana computer desk model #EHLGT-18, has been designed to be used as PACS & Radiology furniture, medical office furniture, command console furniture, and in 911 furniture applications. It is in a class by itself for bringing ergonomic design to computer intensive environments.

• Applications: The Banana Table ergonomic computer desk applications are; LAN (local area networks), medical computer furniture environments, PACS & radiology furniture workstations (picture archiving & retrieval systems), control room furniture, command control centers, 911 furniture centers, engineering firms, architects, interior designers, universities, flight control centers, brokerage firms, or anywhere ergonomics and productivity are considerations.
• Ergonomically correct: Curved to embrace the human form and respond to the dynamic movements of the computer user.
• Dual surfaces: Two surfaces that adjust independently of the other with electric motors allowing quick, easy, and ergonomically correct positioning for each user. Each surface lifts up to 450 lbs. of monitors, CPU, printers, etc. Most competitors can only lift 200 lbs.
• Reduces RSI: Repetitive strain injuries by reducing stress & strain on the computer user's wrists, forearms, neck, shoulders, back & lumbar region.
• Reduces eye fatigue: Banana Lite computer desks reduce eye fatigue, stress & strain by having a minimum viewing distance from the computer user's eyes to the monitors of 24".
• Cable management: Equipped with a cable tray in the rear of the monitor surface. The cable tray conceals and distributes all the wiring required. Additional cable storage is incorporated
into horizontal channels in the bases.
• Power consumption: The front surface has two electric motors and the back surface also has two electric motors that adjust independent of the other. The power consumption of each set of motors is 3.4 amps when loaded with up to 450 lbs. The motors are DC and draw 24 volts when in use.
• Travel range: The Banana Lite ergonomic computer desk has two travel ranges. From 28" to 44" and from 25" to 50" using electric motors that automatically level the surfaces as they are adjusted in height, even if they are weighted unevenly.
• Top Sizes: #EHLGT-18 dimensions are: Overall: 70"w. X 48 1/2"d. Front top is 70"W. x 23 5/8"d. Back top is 68.25"w. X 19 5/8"d. Click for a drawing. Installation is not included, but is very easy and takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Basically all you have to do is attach the two tops to the base and all the mounting hardware is included. • Vertical privacy panel: You can also add a vertical privacy panel that provides a visual barrier to the back of the monitors and the power-data cables. The height is 18" by the width of the console. Made from black extruded/expanded plastic, it is lightweight, strong and attaches to the cable tray and adjusts vertically as the back surface is raised and lowered. Select above.
